What is the ideal location for an aquarium?

To avoid excess algae growth, aquariums should never be located where they will receive direct or bright indirect sunlight.

There should be an electrical outlet nearby, preferably behind the desired aquarium location.

A source of water (bathroom, kitchen, laundry room) should be within 100 feet of the aquarium.
